It takes a village to build something special, and I’ve been truly fortunate to work with some of the most amazing women in Nashville on this project. @jadeamberstudio is a core part of that effort, using her expertise to design a space that feels like a second home for parents, and a place full of wonder and engagement for kids. I’m grateful to be featured in @nashvillevoyager Community Highlights where I expand on how and why the idea for Woodland Play Cafe came to life - including listening to (and experiencing for myself) what moms feel we’ve been missing in a city with lots of kids and limited options for kid-centered experiences. We’re hiring! Woodland Play Cafe is looking for part-time Front of House / Play Space Attendants to join our opening crew in East Nashville. We’re looking for people who: - Love kids and enjoy engaging with families - Have a background in coffee (or are eager to learn) - Are comfortable with light food prep - excited to help keep thing clean and tidy Want to work in a space that feels like your best friend’s house, if your best friend had great coffee and a beautiful play space?
